Seed treatment is an important concept in "Non Pesticide Management" agricultural practices. It is known as Beejamrutham, which is made up of locally available ingredients and materials such as cow - dung, cow- urine, water, ant hill soil and lime powder. The Bejamrutham would be applied on all sorts of seeds before they are being sown. The seed treatment contains all diseases which emerge from seeds.
