Locality Review: Nelamangala, Bengaluru

Nelamangala, part of the Bengaluru rural district, is situated about 27 km from Majestic. A quiet town earlier, Nelamangala today is buzzing with intense real estate activity.

Nelamangala is situated at the confluence of two national highways, NH-48 which connects Bengaluru to Mangaluru and NH-4 i.e, the Mumbai-Chennai Highway. Adarsh Nagar, Arasanakunte and Dasanapura are some of the nearby localities.

Nelamangala is located along the Tumkur Road, which is a logistics hub. Many small and medium scale industries are located along this stretch, providing employment for many. The IndoSpace Logistics Park is around 11 km and 16 minutes and the Dabaspet Industrial area is around 27 km and 29 minutes away from Nelamangala.

You might have to travel a bit to access good educational institutions and hospitals. Orchids International, Cluny Convent, Ratan Memorial, MS Ramaiah Harsha Hospital and People Tree Hospital are a few to be named. These are anywhere between 2 to 21 kms away.

The Kempegowda International Airport is 52 km away. Nelamangala also has a railway station. And one has to rely on local auto rickshaws for travel along the interiors. Nagasandra houses the nearest metro station, which is 14 km and 20 minutes away.
