Magnet Powered Car for Dukey8668

Dukey8668 asked "I wonder if you could do a car like a gravity powered one, but in which you have a magnet instead of a weight (or a magnet and a weight) on the end of the string, and have a magnet on the base of the car. I'm not sure if it would work but it seems worth a try.". My thoughts on using it like a gravity powered car are that the benefit would not really be measurable with any accuracy that I could demonstrate, however turning it 90 degrees and removing the gravity effect we can just demonstrate the power of the magnetic attraction.

I added some neodymium magnets, as small piece of plywood to mount the magnets and hot glued the string (kite string) to the magnet.
