Play is so essential to finding joy and watercolor is no exception. When you're learning or just through the course of having a hobby you can go through times when you lose the spark or it feels extra hard. For me the answer is typically play. There's something so freeing about giving yourself permission to just mess around.

When was the last time you let yourself play?

In this video I painted in my mini sketchbook that I sell, using a bunch of colors from that dream palette I built, a size 12 wonder brush, and I used masqepen masking fluid.
