The bisthaan outside the entrance of the mosque marks Kan’baa Aisaa Grave. The boundary wall was built after a ziyaarat (mausoleum) on site had been destroyed. The broader mosque compound in which this bisthaan is situated was renovated during the presidency of Maumoon Abdul Gayoom (1978-2008). It is difficult to determine the date of the original mosque building on this site. There are two wells on the premises of this mosque compound.
