चासोक ताङ्नाम अन्य चाडपर्वहरूमध्ये लिम्बु जातिको सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण चाड हो। यो पर्व नेपाली क्यालेन्डरको सेन्चेन्ला महिना वा मंसिर महिनाको पूर्णिमामा पर्छ। लिम्बू भाषामा ताङ्नाम भनेको चाड हो। लिम्बु पहिचान, संस्कृति र राष्ट्रवादको पुनरुत्थानसँगै लिम्बुले चासोक ताङ्नामलाई आफ्नो पात्रोको महत्वपूर्ण पर्वका रूपमा मनाउन थालेका छन् ।
Chasok Tangnam is the most important festival of the Limbu people among other festivals. This festival falls on a full moon day of the month of Senchengla or the Mangsir month of the Nepali calendar. Tangnam simply means festival in the Limbu language. Along with the resurgence of Limbu identity, culture and nationalism, Limbus have started to celebrate Chasok Tangnam as an important festival of their calendar
