The Rarest Whisky I've Tried Yet: Gordon & Macphail Glen Mhor 1982 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

Описание к видео The Rarest Whisky I've Tried Yet: Gordon & Macphail Glen Mhor 1982 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

In this video I continue my exploration of the world of Gordon & Macphail by trying what is most likely the rarest whisky I've had the pleasure to try thus far, a 40 year old 1982 Glen Mhor Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This is a whisky that is lost in time and serves as a glimpse back into the past. The Glen Mhor Distillery was founded in 1892 in Inverness, Scotland. It's a fascinating distillery that sadly closed in 1983 due to the whisky loch and was torn down by 1989, having been replaced by a shopping mall. The Gordon & Macphail Private Collection Glen Mhor 1982 40 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Cask # 72 was matured in a Refill Sherry Hogshead, is bottled at cask strength at 50.8%, is non-chill filtered and is natural colour. This Gordon and Macphail Glen Mhor is one of the most unique whiskies I've ever tried and is certainly amoung the rarest, if not the single rarest, whisky I have ever tried. If you've ever been curious about closed/ghost distilleries and whisky of the past this is a video for you. Thanks a always for watching. Cheers.
