This video showcases a selection of five stories of innovation taken from the video contest (2024): Innovations by and for family farmers.

For family farmers, innovation is the key to transforming their livelihoods. However, family farmers do not simply adopt innovations but rather they often lead the way, creating, promoting and adjusting innovations that are suitable for their own contexts.

These innovations go beyond technological; for example, they can be social, financial or institutional. Innovations of all types are crucial to combat hunger, revitalize rural communities and safeguard our planet.
