EASY ALMOND CROISSANT RECIPE:
(my adapted version)
Pre-heat oven 180C Fan. Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper. In a small bowl, mix 80g ground almonds, 50g unsalted butter (melted), 40g golden caster sugar , 1 tsp almond extract and 1/2 tsp kirsch until a thick paste is formed. Unroll 1 packet of Jus Roll croissant dough onto a floured surface. Spread the almond mixture evenly along the dough. Starting at the short end, roll up the dough tightly, then cut into 6 circles. Place the almond swirls into the prepared tin, leaving plenty of space in between, as these will spread when cooking. Brush the tops of the swirls with a beaten egg, then scatter a handful of flaked almonds over their tops. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
