First Time at Bonneville Salt Flats during Cross Country Motorcycle Trip on Harley Pan America

I have finally reached the point in my Cross Country Motorcycle Trip (riding all 48 states in under 10 days) that I am feeling relaxed, it is officially Day 7. I left in the very early hours of the morning because it's Las Vegas (3:00AM) and headed north. I took a different direction that I have never traveled before and was pleasantly surprised to find I was the only one on the road for hundreds of miles. Made it up to the Bonneville Salt Flats in no time as my little "treat" for the trip. I have never experienced the flats before and it was fantastic to take some time to "slow down" as much as I could and capture some photographs of myself. An extra 20 minutes well spent in my opinion. I continued my way north through Idaho and Oregon, realizing that the path I had planned lead to a couple concerns: no hotels available and extra time and mileage spent on the bike. So I decided to forgo Lolo Pass in Idaho and take the "long way"/faster up and around Oregon. So I pulled into my hotel just as the sun was setting and excited to get a "decent" nights rest (4-5 hours of sleep). I also walk you through how I document my receipts for verification through the Iron Butt Association and also my nightly process of prepping for the next day's ride.
