STORYLINE
Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe was among the first heads of state to touch down in the Danish capital on Tuesday, avoiding a travel ban imposed by Western nations because he was attending to a United Nations conference.
Despite being a controversial figure, Mugabe told reporters he wasn't worried about being targeted at the climate talks.
Human rights activists have tried to arrest him on previous trips abroad, but asked if he was concerned about his personal security in Denmark, Mugabe said his security wasn't any more important than anyone else's.
"I'm sure Denmark is doing its best," he told AP Television.
Questioned about whether he was confident that Europe and America would take Africa's concerns on climate change into account, Mugabe said he wasn't sure what the outcome of the talks would be, but added that all countries were contending with the same problem.
"We must all do our best together," he said.
Mugabe is due to address the conference on Wednesday.
