If your remote key fob has a dead or bad battery or is otherwise broken, the DIC may display NO REMOTE DETECTED or NO REMOTE KEY WAS DETECTED PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET THEN START YOUR VEHICLE. The REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY message may also be displayed at this time.

To start the Terrain:
1. Place the remote key fob in the GMC Terrain's cupholder.
2. Start the GMC Terrain as you normally would
