How to update your

The Plaits oscillator module from Mutable Instruments WAS more like 16 Oscillators in one package - and with the new firmware version 1.2 ( a true gift from creator Emilíe Gilet), it is more like 24 Oscillators!! There's a whole new set of 8 oscillators known as the ORANGE set, the prior two sets being Green and Red (the LED color shown when selecting them).
This video explains the process of upgrading the firmware to the new version - which is a bit finicky to get installed because it depends on playing a WAV file into thhe Model input of the module, and having the right volume is critical but not specific (I can't say "set the volume to 5" since everyone's method of plying the WAV file is different).
One CRITICAL point left out of this video: DO NOT HAVE YOUR SPEAKERS OR HEADPHONES ON when playing the WAV file into the module. You will not enjoy that. it is not meant to be heard by any living being other than the Plaits module itself.
