What If You Could Play Guitar? | Jubing Kristianto | TEDxBinusSchool

The Guitar is one of the most versatile musical instruments that can be played within most genres. In his talk, Jubing Kristianto who is a renowned Indonesian acoustic guitarist and has numerous accolades for his craft, will share his experiences and insights through his songs, and give us an idea of “What if you could play guitar?”

Jubing is an acoustic guitar player who has played in numerous events, concerts, radio and television stations across Indonesia. He has produced five solo acoustic guitar albums, all which were positively received by both fans and critics, as well as the media. Jubing’s unique sound is characterized by his ability to convey different moods and emotions and he is also able to play a plethora of genres: from classical, pop, rock, jazz, to ethnic. He has received a number of honors, among them a nomination for the best solo instrumental in the “Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2011” and Rolling Stone Indonesia naming Becak Fantasy as one of the top 20 Indonesian albums of 2008.
