StoveTec FireFly Lantern - Burn Test #4 - Hickory Chips - Check For Smoke

Описание к видео StoveTec FireFly Lantern - Burn Test #4 - Hickory Chips - Check For Smoke

In this video I try hickory chips as fuel for the StoveTec FireFly Lantern. I also try to prevent the wind from blowing out the Lantern but putting carbon felt over the air intake holes. The carbon felt with a silicon band because I thought a rubber band might melt.

Part way into the video I pulled the carbon felt down to expose a couple of the air holes. Looks like maybe the felt was too dense and was blocking to much of the air flow.

Surprisingly the load of hickory chips only lasted about 30 minutes. Tonight, when it gets dark, I'll try another load of hickory so we can see if the flames needed for the lantern part are generated.

Thanks for watching my videos,
Hiram
