Matthew Cha Live at the Conscious Dream Festival 2023

This performance was recorded in a dairy barn turned performance space in Middleburg, VA, at the Conscious Dream Festival. The festival is part of a rotating series of bi-annual music, art, and education festivals hosted by Dream Gatherings, the brainchild of visual artist, rapper, DJ, and teacher Jon Eye. This is the third Dream Gatherings event I have given a performance for, and I thoroughly enjoy the space that these gatherings hold. This particular performance I was blessed to have my sensei and saxophone teacher Perry Conticchio in attendance, as well his wife Stephanie. It was certainly strange to perform only on the Buchla and without my saxophone in front of them, yet was a beautiful experience nonetheless.
