The Pulao is, of course, one of the oldest dishes that seem to have existed through large parts of the world, in particular in central Asia, in the old Persian empire, the Ionian (Greek) world and in the later Ottoman empire and all its parts. It was in Mughal kitchens that the elegantly subtle pulao was introduced to the Indian. Pulao is made through the 'absorption method'.

The Pulao is one of the popular food in indian as well as in bengalis. Most of the bengali people like Pulao. They like to eat this food mainly in the festival days. They also prepare this food when their guests come at homes. However, Today I prepare Prawn Pulao ( Chingri Pulao) and Alur Dom at my village house in a easy method. Truly this food is very much delicious and tasty.
