Traders! Do you keep a trading journal? If your a long-time you probably might say "I used to". Lot's of beginners keep the trading log to keep track of their money, but there's so much that can be gained from a trading journal. It's probably the best resource to improve your trading. You see, so many of us know how to trade. We took the courses, we read the books, but obviously when it's time to trigger the open position and also when we're sitting with an open trade a lot of those nuances get lost. This is why it's so important to track our results. But not the position size and the exact price when we entered. That stuff is great, but we can see that on the trading platform. The important part of a trading journal is to organize and meticulously document why you opened the position? What was your analysis that led you to make the trade? How did you mange the trade? Did you go according to plan?

These are the types of things in this video that are so important to document. This way we can organize the data and identify our strengths and weaknesses. What works for you ? What are you not so good at? Once we identify the strengths and losses, we can focus more of our trades on what we're good at, and slowly discover - maybe - what is holding us back in the things we're not as good at.

This my friends is what a trading journal is supposed to be all about. It's not homework for the teacher. It's a mirror of how you've been seeing the market. Reviewing the journal and dissecting it is probably 100x times more beneficial to your trading than just logging them in the journal mindlessly and never looking at them again.
It might not be that fun, but it could be, but even if it's not, don't you wanna be the best trader you can be and make big money? It takes work and most of the work is in the review and housekeeping of your trading through reviewing your trading journal.
