As the reconstruction and remodeling of Ariaria international market located in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria's southeast continues, original shop owners of the pilot area known as A-Line have dismissed claims that their shops were being allotted to new owners.

The traders say all occupants of the remodelled line are people who had shops there before  their demolition two years ago.
