Seiken Densetsu 3 {Final Boss} Dark Prince, the Archdemon

Dark Prince, the Archdemon the final boss of the game if either Lise or Hawk was the first character you picked. I remember at level 45 this fight took really long to finish (above 20 minutes).

Archdemon is regarded as one of the strongest foes of Seiken Desetsu 3 (just barely behind Black Rabite) and he isn't humble to show why. I don't pull any punches here, I fight him using buffs and debuffs and he still gives one of the tougher fights in the entire game, very fitting for a final boss.

The game states he is the most powerful of the three major villains and the main reason I feel obliged to agree is because he might spam Black Curse (ALL status Down) the on your characters and Death Spell which kills instantly any character under Level 54.

Archdemon also is the one who casts his spells the fastest and he is fond of using status ailment, debuffing magic on your party which is very irritating. If you go unprepared for this fight you WILL suffer a lot. The only good thing is when he starts changing elements which gives you plenty time to recover, the bad thing is that you can't hurt him while he's doing that unless you use magic or level 2 or 3 techs.

After you damage him enough he'll take a second form where he is even stronger and will keep using obscenely strong physical attacks, but thankfully hits only one character per time.

Demon Scream lowers one's attack power, Demon Breath deals high Dark damage and lowers Magic Power and Magic Defense (which is VERY dangerous against this chump), he has also Catastrophe which is his most powerful attack and deals insanely high magic damage if you didn't debuff him or buffed yourself up.

As a last side note, the Archdemon apparently fused himself into the Mana Tree, reinforced by the fact there are vines in his "feet".
