Life In A Mountainous Village Far From Civilization | Winter Preparations

Hello guys. In my daily routine village life I will bake delicious bread in tandoor and cook a delicious traditional Iranian dish. Then I show you how we get ready for winter by collecting dried bushes and storing oil for heaters and stoves.
In rural village life, donkeys play a crucial role as resilient and dependable animals for various daily tasks. They are commonly used for transporting water, firewood, and agricultural produce across difficult terrains where motorized vehicles cannot easily go. Due to their surefootedness and ability to carry heavy loads, donkeys provide an economical and sustainable alternative to mechanized transport, particularly in communities with limited resources. Additionally, they require minimal maintenance, thriving on simple diets and surviving in arid environments where other animals might struggle. The donkey's contribution is essential in easing the labor burden for villagers, allowing for more efficient resource transportation and supporting local agriculture and commerce. This, in turn, fosters economic stability and improves the overall quality of life in many rural areas.
Village life in Iran offers a peaceful and relaxing lifestyle, where the daily routine is deeply connected to nature. In these rural areas, outdoor cooking is a cherished tradition, with fresh, healthy food prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Village cooking often takes place in open spaces, using simple methods that highlight the flavors of the produce. This way of life promotes a healthy lifestyle, as the natural surroundings and physical activities foster well-being. The slow pace of life allows villagers to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, where each day is filled with meaningful tasks and a connection to the earth.
Sheep herding is an age-old tradition, especially in regions like rural Iran, where livestock plays a central role in daily life and sustenance. Shepherds lead their flocks across vast landscapes, ensuring the sheep have access to fresh grazing pastures. This lifestyle, closely tied to nature, fosters a deep understanding of the land, weather patterns, and animal behavior. It involves long hours outdoors, promoting a connection to both the animals and the environment. Sheep herding not only supports the local economy but also preserves traditions that emphasize a harmonious and sustainable relationship with nature.
