In this Feldenkrais lesson based on the work of Ruthy Alon we will explore opening up the front and side of the rib cage by crossing the wrists and interlacing the fingers. The head is gently sandwiched between the arms, which prevents excessive movement in the small vertebrae and muscles of the neck. As a result most of the movement is in the chest especially if you manage to keep your pelvis and lower back quiet and still without being tense.
