HP Compaq 6910p laptop Disassembly & Restoration

This is a HP Compaq 6910p I received as not working with 3 other laptops for $20 each.
Turns out the only reasons preventing this one from working are the fact that the seller gave me a Dell charger with it (which it will neither charge nor power up with it due to incompatible charger ID signal), and that it had a dead RAM stick underneath the keyboard.
Restoring this laptop is an unique experience to me because I have not worked on a HP business class laptop before this.
