Part XXI: Bustling Old Roads & Alleys | Ollie Odyssey Japan

Описание к видео Part XXI: Bustling Old Roads & Alleys | Ollie Odyssey Japan

This video resumes my exploration, walking further south towards Kiyomizu-dera temple, which has a picturesque path up a hill adorned with attractive architecture and a bevy of shops. This is where it can get extremely crowded, as you can see in some of the captures here. By the time I got to the top, the main grounds of Kiyomizu-dera was closing soon, unfortunately. Still, a lot of the front areas are open to the public to freely walk around and had lovely views. I'll be sure to try to make it further in next time!

When night came, I walked back across the river to walk around Pontocho alley. It's a dining area just along the river with a truly unique feel. I didn't dine at any of establishments that face out to the open overlooking the river, but even walking through the alley was fun. It may be a bit touristic and apparently pricey, but maybe I'll dine at one of the restaurants someday.
