Kumaun University, located in Nainital, Uttarakhand, is going to provide e-books to students, teachers, and affiliated campuses, colleges, and institutions. The university has already purchased 450 e-books for this purpose. Kumaun University is the first university in Uttarakhand to offer e-books to both teachers and students. A total of 75 colleges and private institutions are affiliated with Kumaun University.

उत्तराखंड के नैनीताल स्थित कुमाऊं यूनिवर्सिटी से संबद्ध परिसरों, महाविद्यालयों व संस्थानों के छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ ही शिक्षकों को ई-बुक्स की सुविधा देने जा रही है. जिसके लिए यूनिवर्सिटी ने 450 ई-बुक्स खरीद ली हैं. कुमाऊं यूनिवर्सिटी उत्तराखंड की पहली यूनिवर्सिटी है जो शिक्षकों और छात्रों के लिए ई-बुक्स उपलब्ध करवा रहा है. कुमाऊं यूनिवर्सिटी से कुल 75 महाविद्यालय और प्राईवेट संस्थानों की संबद्धता है.
