Saturday the 28th August, running the Clumber Park parkrun
239th parkrun and 158th at Clumber

A cooler morning than recent parkruns and considerably cooler that the last few weeks running. There were a few drops of rain in the air, but fortunately it held off until I was back in the car before it started raining harder.
The opening mile was good and felt quick but manageable, mile 2 after going up the hill pace slowed and started feeling tougher, mile 3 felt like a slog, ended up with a much slower time than I would've liked, but managed to sprint at the end.

21st placed finisher out of 359 and 4th in the 40-44 age group
