Can Louis Parkinson help me on a Bouldering World Cup Dyno?

Описание к видео Can Louis Parkinson help me on a Bouldering World Cup Dyno?

In this video, we're back looking at dynamic climbing with ‪@CatalystClimbing‬ Coach Louis Parkinson and ‪@JoshRundle‬. We headed down to Hang in London for a session on a bouldering problem inspired the IFSC World Cup Men's Bouldering Finals in Brixen. This boulder in particular is inspired by men's final problem 1, and require you to really trust a volume to propel into a funky toe hook catch.

00:00 - 01:13 Introducing the World Cup Boulder
01:13 - 02:01 First attempts; route-reading and figuring out the right beta
02:01 - 05:40 Beta adjustments and tweaking for Josh and I
05:40 - 07:50 Louis introduces a coaching technique to make the moves easier to learn
07:50 - 09:50 Adding the toe hook
09:50 - 17:51 putting all the techniques together to start having send attempts
17:51 - 18:51 power spotting to get a feel for the position without the dynamic elements
18:51 - last goes best goes!

Dynamic movement and bouncy bouldering is definitely a weakness of mine, so it was really fun to learn and practice some new climbing skills, and find my feet with trying dynos more confidently.
