We received a sudden update regarding the banners in version 5.1, so let’s dive right into it. Team Mew shared a post about the upcoming banners in 5.1, which seems to be reposted information from Hakushin. In the first phase, we’re getting Xilonen, as already announced by the developers. There’s nothing surprising here. As for the other character in the first phase, it’s going to be Chiori. Yes, Chiori is getting her first rerun since version 4.5, so if you don’t have her, you’ll have an opportunity to get her.
Now, onto the Archon rerun in the second phase. Just as I speculated in my previous video, we’re getting a Nahida rerun. It was predictable since the new event in 5.1 will be the Sabzeruz Festival, which celebrates the birth of Lesser Lord Kusan Ali, or Nahida. She’s also having a birthday in this update, so all these factors led to her rerun. The last character in 5.1 will be Hu Tao. It’s been eight patches since her last rerun, so it’s not surprising to see her in the banners.
But what’s more surprising is the fact that there’s still no rerun for Rosaria, Shenhe, Sangonomiya Kokomi, or Ganyu. All of them are at the top of the five-star character waiting list, yet there’s still no info about their reruns. There was a good chance that Liyue Chronicled Wish characters would be in 5.2, but seeing Hu Tao in the banner makes me question what we will have in the next Chronicled Wish. Let’s also take a look at what else you can expect in the 5.1 update.
First, we’ll get the next Natlan Archon Quest, where we’ll see another fight with Mavuika, but I won’t spoil who she’s going to fight this time. There’s also info that we will be able to play as Mavuika in 5.1, but it may just be her POV. The main event will be the Sabzeruz Festival. Do you remember we experienced it once in the Sumeru Archon Quest when we kept waking up on the same day over and over again? This time, everything will be safe, so no worries—you’ll be able to complete it at your own pace.
The free character will be Candace. We’re also getting Liyue’s return. He always brings something related to the next region, and the next region is Snezhnaya, so be prepared to hear something about that region from him. In 5.1, if you clear Floors 9 and 10, you’ll be able to get the rewards instantly next time, saving you some time. Honestly, the developers should have done this much earlier. Additionally, we’re getting two new running effects for Zhongli and Kazuha.
Unfortunately, we won’t get a new map in 5.1. Technically, we are getting a new one, but it’s so small I can hardly call it a new map. It has one teleport point and one boss.
