After a few months hiatus, it's back to bringing you more good railway videos on YouTube, and I'm hopefully kicking off 2025 with a good one for you.

Saturday 4th January 2025 found yours truly, on a post Christmas outing to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (24 hours before the country would be gripped with a blanketing of snow), for the penultimate day of their 'Mince Pie Specials'.

In traffic on this day were LMS Black Five 45212 (home for the Winter after acting as a secondary locomotive for the Jacobite trains in Scotland) on the specials themselves, supplemented by ex-Northern Rail Class 144 DMU 144011 on the diesel service.

These scenes show the action in their entirety, including a brief lineside shot near Haworth, and a ride on one of the specials. We also get a look in at the exhibition shed at Oxenhope, plus the Bahamas Locomotive Society HQ and the Carriage Works, at Ingrow West.

Locations include Keighley, Ingrow West, Damens, Oakworth, Haworth and Oxenhope.
