Beekeeping will present you with many challenges to overcome, you can only try to make things go your way but in the end the bees will do what bees do. It is our job as beekeepers to give them the best possible chance to maintain a healthy colony. Things I am always looking for during an inspection are , 1. eggs, 2.larvae, 3.capped brood, 4 small hive beetles, 5 wax moth, 6. Honey, 7. nectar, 8.pollen, 9 drawn honeycomb, 10 wonky comb, 11. damaged frames, 12. Varroa mites. These are just some of the obvious things to look out for, there are definitely other things too that need to be observed
