Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice Meeting - September 2024

The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) is a collaborative of national organizations focused on improving public health education and training, practice, and research. The Council on Linkages convened for a virtual meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm ET. This meeting provided updates about initiatives of the Council on Linkages, including the new Retention and Recruitment Learning Community, the Academic Health Department Learning Community, and the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals. A guest speaker from the CDC Public Health Infrastructure Center, Division of Workforce Development shared about their latest initiatives and work.
