DJ Geeneus with MC Wiley & MC Riddles | 1999 Old Skool Drum & Bass Set | Rinse FM 100.3

Описание к видео DJ Geeneus with MC Wiley & MC Riddles | 1999 Old Skool Drum & Bass Set | Rinse FM 100.3

Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. Recorded in 1999, Rinse FM was now broadcasting on 100.3 frequency across London and its surrounding counties. These were Wiley's last days MCing over Jungle Drum & Bass before he put the mic for a short while to DJ for the Garage crew, The Ladies Hit Squad, with DJ Target and MC Maxwell D. MC Riddles had already started to MC to Garage and a lot of the Jungle MCs of the mid 90s were going through a transitional process the Jungle Drum & Bass scene was closed shop and most MCs were looking for an outlet to break through. The Garage scene provided it. Check out MC Riddles with DJ Bubbler on Deja VU FM 92.3 for a rare UK Garage set recording.
DJ Geeneus kept doing his nighttime Sunday Jungle set, but focused on running the station. He too would later jump on the Garage scene and join forces with DJ Slimzee to form the Pay As You Go Cartel.
