As one of the young cultural icons hailing from the UAE’s Royal Family, H.H. Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Al Suwaidi has played an integral part in advancing the soft power of the UAE through her various initiatives. Using art, poetry and culture as ways to foster tolerance, nurture creativity and promote education and progressive ideas, Her Highness has instilled hope and positivity among the youth. The prestigious ABLF Sustainable Leadership Icon Award is in recognition of her outstanding achievements.
Receiving the award on Her Highness's behalf was Dr Lamees Al Qaisi, Director of the Khawla Art and Culture, UAE.
