This week's video is how to kick out a city inspector and other things to do before drywall. We've been having issues with our city inspector and did not know any better being our first project, we just thought this is how inspectors are. Well it came to light that our inspector was special and Sam had enough of him. Besides that, we talk about all the things needed before drywall which includes making sure your walls are straight, getting your house wrapped and ready for stucco, and putting the insulation in.

One thing we did not explain very well in the video is the HERS testing requirements, because we don't know much about it. What we do know is that we need to get a certified HERS tester, which comes to our job site and tests the energy efficiency of the home from the windows to the walls(insulation), the HVAC system -- anywhere that there is heat transfer between the inside and the outside.
