Cape Tsumekizaki Lighthouse is a beautiful stone lighthouse located in south-east coast of the Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka prefecture, Shimoda city, Japan. It was built in 1937. If you want to spend some good time with your dear ones, you can give a try to this place. You will be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of the coastline and its natural surroundings.

If you visit the place in the afternoon during summer, it may get hot. Morning hours might be good time if you can make it that early. In general, it is better to visit the spot when the temperature is not so cold.

Make sure to bring water and light snacks with you. Please do not throw away any trash over there, keep them with you and trash it at designated place. There is a small sea beach nearby where you can do water activities like snorkeling ONLY during Summer season. It can be a great place for children for snorkeling as well.
