Increase the Oxygen Supply to the Baby during a Contraction and reduce fetal Distress during Labor

Описание к видео Increase the Oxygen Supply to the Baby during a Contraction and reduce fetal Distress during Labor

During a contraction, your baby receives less oxygen because of the compression of veins. This can lead to fetal distress which is often the reason for many medical interventions.
So, in this video, Nathalie Kaufmann, Pregnancy & Birth Consultant and TCM Therapist, and Mathias Ritter, Researcher and Science Geek, discuss several ways to increase the oxygen supply to the baby during a contraction. First, they discuss why your body’s own hormones will protect the baby’s brain to a certain degree from lack of oxygen. Next, they discuss four natural ways to increase the oxygen supply to the baby during a contraction which can help reduce fetal distress.
It is worth noting that these four things can be combined. In fact, oftentimes, it is the combination of all four things which can help the baby get more oxygen during labor and reduce fetal distress.
Finally, they also teach 2 acupressure points which can help reduce your anxiety during labor. That’s because anxiety can decrease the oxygen supply to the baby too. In the video, they show you why that’s the case.
