DESCRIPTION:-
This is an instructional video about arm exercises for stroke survivors so that they can regain their hand strength. Muscle rigidity and stiffness make it difficult for the patient to move his hand during Paralysis.

It should be mentioned that during Paralysis, patients frequently create fists, which hinders voluntary hand movements. It is critical to note that before beginning the workout, the patient must first open and stretch their fingers and thus resulting in finger rejuvenation.
Here are a few exercises that can help paralyzed patients move their hand/s and recover:
1. Move your wrist from left to right while keeping your palm on the table.
2. Instead of tapping, the patient's hand should be slid. A handkerchief might be placed under the patient's hand as well.
3. Move your hand from left to right while keeping it horizontal.
4. Now, repeat the process by holding your hands together and moving them from left to right.
5. Move and stretch your wrist to support your injured hand.
6. Clasp your hands together and move them from left to right.
7. Assist by extending your hand inward and then out. Place a roll of the towel over your wounded wrist.
8. Apply a few drops of lubricant or oil on the table, spread your fingers, and massage it off. Close your hand after moving it away from your body.

Point to be noted: Everything has been demonstrated in the video by Dr. Sanskriti, a Physiotherapist. To regain muscle movement, try holding objects for longer durations. Patients can also use sponge balls to exercise their fingers.
