The police officer detained over the disappearance of Sarah Everard has been arrested on suspicion of murder, as searches continue at two locations in Kent.

The man, who has not officially been named, is aged in his 40s and has been serving in the Metropolitan Police’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command.
