Odissi Mangalacharan | Vrinda Chadha | Invocation Lord Ganesha | Rasa Manthan (रस मंथन)

An invocation to Lord Ganesha in his dancing form. He is the removal of all obstacles and hurdles. The beautiful elephant headed son of Lord Shiva and Parvati always blesses his devotees with success and prosperity. In this traditional presentation of the Odissi repertoire Ganesha is seen dancing the Tandav. His form is decorated beautifully in sindoor and beez buzz around his sweetened face as it’s covered with ladoos for he is so fond of them.

Vrinda is a senior disciple of Padma Shri Guru Ranjana Gauhar. She performed this piece at her themed solo Odissi recital.
