Bauhinia variegata is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae, native to southeastern Asia, from southern China west to Pakistan and India. Common names include Orchid tree, Camel's Foot Tree and Mountain-ebony. It is called Kachnar in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi or Kanchan(Bengali) in India.

Recipe
Ingredients:
Bauhinia variegata’ Buds: one Kg
Pea Seeds: Half Kg
Beef Minces: Half Kg
Onion: 2 medium sized
Tomato: 3 pieces Medium sized
Green Chili: 5 pieces
Coriander fresh: 4-5 stalk
Turmeric Powder: 1 Table spoon
Red Chili powder: 1 Table spoon
Table salt: 2 Table spoons
Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 Table spoons
Broken red chili: 1 Table spoon
Mixed Spiced (Masala): 1 Table spoon
Coriander seeds powder: 1 Table spoon
Cumin Seeds: 1 Table spoon
Yogurt: 1 cup
Direction:
1. Cut all the fresh ingredients in small pieces as shown in Video.
2. Remove stalks from the Bauhinia variegata’ Buds
3. Boil one litre of water and add Bauhinia variegata’ Buds
4. Boil for ten minutes
5. Boiled the Minced beef
6. Fry the Desi ghee/oil in a pan and add peas
7. Fry the peas till they soften and take them out from the oil
8. Add ginger garlic paste in the leftover desi ghee in pan and brown it
9. Add cut tomato, green chili, onion and cook for two minutes
10. Add red chili powder, mixed spices powder, black pepper, coriander seeds powder and cumin seeds
11. Mix and fry them in oil for one minute
12. Add yogurt and cook for two minutes
13. Add Boiled minced beef, peas and Bauhinia variegata’ Buds
14. Cook for ten minutes
15. Take in a plate an garnish with cilantro, tomato and green chilies
16. Enjoy your healthy home made Dish
