Abstract: Canada is known for its thriving innovation ecosystem, driven by a combination of government support, academic research, and strong private sector initiatives. An overview of Canada's innovation and #cybersecurity landscapes will be presented, including the funding ecosystem.

Biography: With over 20 years of experience in strategic partnerships, innovation, and business development, Hyelim Juliana Kim is a senior advisor, major accounts at Mitacs, a national non-profit organization that supports research and innovation in Canada. She leads the national portfolios of cybersecurity, robotics, and Korea, facilitating collaborations and opportunities between academia, industry, and government partners in these domains.

She is also the founder and president of AAQC/QKBA, a non-profit organization that bridges Korea and Quebec in business, innovation, and culture. She leverages her trilingual skills and tricultural identity to create a platform for business/cultural exchanges, mutual growth, and meaningful impact.
