How To Restart Your Fronius Inverter

Today we will be going through how to restart your inverter. Restarting your inverter can help fix a lot of common problems including faults and error codes that display on the inverter and the inverter not communicating with the online monitoring system.

To turn off or restart your inverter you will find instructions on the front of your Fronius inverter detailing the Shutdown and Startup procedure. The first step is to open up the switchboard and find the main switch inverter supply and turn this off. The next step, under the inverter you will find the DC isolator switch. You will need to turn that right until it’s off. Now the inverter is off.

TIP: Be sure to wait a few minutes before turning your inverter back on after the shutdown procedure.

To turn your inverter back on, do the steps in reverse. Turn the DC isolator switch on. Then go to the switch board and turn on the main switch inverter supply. Once you have flicked all the switches, the Fronius inverter will go through a set up procedure and take a few minutes before turning back on.
