Horizontal band saw extended vice jaws and saw adjustments

Описание к видео Horizontal band saw extended vice jaws and saw adjustments

I'm taking a short diversion from my belt sander project so that I can make a needed improvement to my horizontal bandsaw.

I find that I've been cutting lots of shorter pieces of metal lately, and the bandsaw just isn't good with gripping short pieces to cut. This simple improvement will address that.

I also go through a full "tune up" of the saw, getting it to cut very straight and true (within .020" over two inches in both planes), and show my approach to making those adjustments.

Now that the saw is working great, I'll get back to working on the band saw (part 4 "coming soon").
