EP 8: Journey to Hateno Village and Discoveries! | The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Welcome back to my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! 🎮✨

In today's episode, I make my way to the next main mission located in Hateno Village. Along the way, I encounter many mobs that I have to fight. I discovered that ramming into the BIG Boko with my horse does significant damage! Despite practicing my fighting skills, I'm still struggling, but I’m confident I'll improve with time.

Sadly, I had to abandon my horse near a tower I unlocked to save time. Gliding to the village seemed like the faster option. Don’t worry, I can always go back and get my horse later!

Upon reaching Hateno Village, I find a shrine, which was hard to miss with the Sheikah sensor beeping continuously. The trial inside was unique and involved a gyro-based challenge where you need to move the controller! I had a small mishap and knocked my bottle down, causing the game to act weird, but I've cut that part out. I did some cool stuff in this shrine challenge to get the chest, which I'd almost forgotten about.

I met a few townsfolk and kids from the village. Everyone was talking about some director and a tech lab! I’m curious to find out more about this. One enthusiastic villager gave me a quick tour of the village, which was great and adorable. I also met a kid who wants us to show him all sorts of weapons. Hopefully, I'll find them to show him.

The village has some really pretty modern architecture houses that are currently unoccupied. I visited every shop and picked up a few side quests, some of which seemed quite weird or even creepy. Who knows how they will turn out!

One of the side missions, which felt more like a mini-game, involved deer hunting. I’m very bad at it right now and it definitely doesn't seem worth my arrows at the moment.

We experience another blood moon night, which always creeps me out. Worried about not having enough food to survive if monsters attack, I ended the episode looking for a way to cook food. It was unnecessarily complicated, but things worked out in the end and I managed to cook food for our future travels.
