Scope & Content: Reel 1, Christmas (1918) mail is unloaded from a freighter at Bordeaux. Mail is sorted, chemically examined, and loaded onto railroad cars. Shows mail centers at Bourges, France, and Coblenz, Germany. Reel 2, mail is loaded on trucks.
Soldiers receive mail; German prisoners open packages. An Army courier boards the freighter Kroonland. Reel 3, couriers debark
from the Northern Pacific at Bordeaux. The courier mail is sorted, carried by motorcycle, and is loaded on an airplane.
