莎拉茅群訪談記事 Notes on interviews with the Slamaw

Each year, we invite anyone from around the world to join our Taiwan/Ireland Poetry Translation Competition. This year, we are delighted to bring this competition to you in partnership with the National Museum of Taiwan Literature.
In our competition, each year, we explore the range of languages and traditions found in Taiwan, and discover how these can be linked to the poetry tradition of Ireland.

This year's poem is 莎拉茅群訪談記事 [Notes on interviews with the Slamaw] by 黃璽 (Temu Suyan). It is written in Mandarin, but it speaks about the 莎拉茅 (Slamaw) people, a subgroup of the Atayal tribe from the Dajia River Basin.
