billie eilish ♡ skinny [cover: Lucy Zhi]

message from artist from Black Crystal (channel), Lucy Zhi: I ended up filming another song of Billie Eilish because I have been in love with her new album "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT." this song reminded me of this novel I read called 'You'd Be Home Now' by Kathleen Glasgow that revolves around Emory and Gage in parts of the story. Emory was kind of like Gage's secret. I think the chorus where it goes "and I still cry.. and you know why" is so pretty. I think we all have insecurities. you have this version of yourself that you've decided is going to be you someday. when you change the way you dress, the way you talk sometimes there's pieces of you, you want to stay. I prepared a song cover, I hope you'll like it. and I hope you will take this moment to say to yourself, I love you beneath everything on the surface.
