In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Abul-Fazl ibn Mubarak. He was the grand Wazir of Akbar’s court and the author of Akbarnama. He was one of the nine jewels of Akbar’s Court along with famous names like Birbal, Tansen and Rahimdas. He was assassinated by Vir Singh Bundela while returning from Deccan. This whole plan was set afoot by Price Salim who later went on become the Mughal emperor Jahangir. Watch video to know the complete story.
