Rebuilding A Vintage Svea #14 Silent Burner

Описание к видео Rebuilding A Vintage Svea #14 Silent Burner

Watch as I light up a vintage Svea #14 kerosene-fueled stove from circa 1915 with its unique vintage single-tube silent burner. Then watch as I rebuild a damaged one of these rare single-tube burners for a client using mystic stove foo and arcane stove magic. PS - DON"T use india ink in fountain pens. Use india ink with ribbed or calligraphy pens for artwork stuff. Use proper fountain pen ink for fountain pens. India ink makes a pretty good masking for brazing and soldering when doing stove work - no pens of any type needed.

Use Harris Safety-Silv 50 or 56 silver brazing wire for brazing. Never use filler that is called "silver solder" and/or contains tin (Sn). Get brazing products at welding shops not a plumbers supply.
Use Harris Stay-Silv White flux for fluxing.
All metal must be spotlessly clean for silver braze filler to bond with the metal. Use 400 or 600 grit black carbide sandpaper to clean metal.
Get small amounts of metal for projects like this from Online Metals - it's the place to go. https://www.onlinemetals.com
