Welcome to the Gold Coast Australia! Also known as Surfer's paradise. In this Australia vlog I am in the promiscuous entertainment district of the Gold Coast for Christmas! So we will discover what to do in the Gold Coast and Australian Christmas traditions! So let's get in to the Gold Coast vlog!

At the start of the video, it is Christmas Eve and I give you my very first impressions of this fabled city. And whilst I do not know what I expected from the Gold Coast, it definitely wasn't this! There is no doubt that this is the Miami of Australia, the fun, slightly naughty, entertainment district of Australia.
I stayed at Tequilla sunrise hostel, which was very centrally located and did the job. But I definitely would not stay there again nor would I recommend you to! Find out why in the video.

Christmas day in Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast:
Do I regret it? Well find out in the video.
But I definitely was not expecting this on Christmas day in Australia. And for all the things that happened and went well and went wrong, it was still a perfect Christmas day, but check out the drama that I faced along the way! No doubt that Christmas in Australia is very different to Christmas in the UK: the weather is obviously hot and unlike the UK where everything is shut, this is not the case in Australia! Some things will close on Christmas and New Years Day, however 80% of restaurants remain open and ready to serve food (with a 15% bank holiday surcharge of course!).
